Flying Gold

... at least it looks like gold ... but actually it's just chocolate ... ;-)

... traditionally, it was the Cologne nobles who threw sweets to the poor...
... all the spectators of all ages shouted "Kamelle!" (meaning "candy!") at the top of their voices ...
... just to get the most candy ... and whenever the stingier nobles threw too little...
... the disappointed crowd cried "Kniessköpp!" (meaning "misers!") even louder...

... it's one of the oldest carnival clubs of Cologne named "Treuer Husar"
